Calling Consumer Commission litigants

The District Consumer Redressal Commission has proposed to destroy all files related to disputes/ litigations that were resolved with final settlement/ award in the period from Aug. 2014 to Dec. 2015, in accordance with the rules.  As such, the Commission has asked the litigants, respondents and all other parties concerned to apply and take back their files containing original documents and order copies from the Commission Office within a month. The Commission will destroy the files after the one month deadline.

Applications that are received after the deadline will not be considered, according to a press release.
