Calling farmers

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk has invited entries from farmers for awarding cash prizes instituted by Sundaramma Duggatti Veerabhadrappa Pratishtana. The cash prizes will be given to a farmer who records the highest Paddy yield in Nanjangud, Banana yield in Yelandur, watermelon/ tomato in Chamarajanagar, Maize (Mekke Jola) in Kollegal and Vegetable in Gundlupet. The prizes will be distributed during the Suttur Jatra to be held from Feb.1 to 6. Interested farmers can register their names at JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra before Jan.10, 2019.
