Mysuru: The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC) has invited applications from persons belonging to Minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Parsi and Buddhist) for granting subsidy (2017-18), under self-employment, Arivu, Shramashakti, micro loan and Ganga Kalyana schemes.
Also, the beneficiaries will be granted subsidy for purchase of taxis, goods vehicles through loans provided by Nationalised Banks.
Further, Gulf-returned unemployed minority community persons will be extended loan upto Rs. 10 lakh at 5 percent annual rate of interest with the Corporation providing collateral security. The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from the department websites: www.kmdc.kar.nic.in or http://kmdc.karnataka.gov.in.
However, those applying for loans under Arivu scheme can log on to the website: www.kmdc.kar.nic.in/arivu2. The filled in forms can be sent to the KMDC office at S.K.B.
