Calling Savita Samaja students

Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from Savita Samaja  students  for four-year training in ‘Dolu’ and ‘Naadaswara’ traditional music instruments.

 Students in the age group of 10 to 15 years are eligible. However, upper age limit will be relaxed by three years (upto 18 years) in case there is a shortfall in the number of students from the specified age group. Admission is open for 5 seats in Naadaswara and 8 in Dolu. Applications can be had from the Department Office in Mysuru  and filled in forms must be submitted before Oct.16. Selected students will be trained for free with free boarding and lodging facilities at Devanahalli in Benglauru in collaboration with Music University. Log on to  https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in
