Calling women for bravery Awards

The Department of Women and Child Development has invited applications from individual women and organisations who have achieved extraordinarily in the field of women development, education, sports, art and literature for Kittur Rani Chennamma Award for the year 2021-22. The applicants should have served for a minimum period of five years in the above mentioned fields. Women who have exhibited outstanding courage and bravery in rescuing lives by risking their own lives with time sense/consciousness and aged between 18 and 45 years are eligible to apply for Veera Mahile Bravery Award. 

The prescribed application forms for both the awards can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Development, P.S-1, High-Tension Line Road, K.D. Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru. The filled in applications should be submitted before Dec. 31.  For details, call Ph: 0821-2495432, according to a press release.
