Mysuru: Karnataka Kidney Health Foundation and Basudeva Somani College have jointly organised ‘Lung Cancer awareness and book release programme’ on Nov.19 at the College premises in Kuvempunagar at 11 am.
Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore (UoM) Prof. K.S. Ranagappa will inaugurate the programme. JSS Hospital Cancer Specialist Dr. Ravikrishnappa will deliver a special lecture on Cancer Awareness.
Writer from Shivamogga B.S. Shruthi will release the book ‘Usire Galiyadaga,’ a Kannada translation of Dr. Paul Kalanithi’s ‘When Breath Becomes Air’ by Dr. D.C. Nanjunda of UoM.
College Trustees H.N. Nagaraj & Dr. M. Puttaswamy, Principal Dr. M. Mahadevaiah, Dr. Bhargavi of Mahajana College, Dr. K.C.C. Srivatsa and Jyothi Lakshmi will be present on the occasion.
