Career guidance for prospective engineering students tomorrow

In the backdrop of confusions created by the situation following the COVID-19 outbreak since March 2020, entire student fraternity is uncertain about the future and the situation of students aspiring to study professional courses like engineering are no different. In this regard, a Career Guidance Programme (YouTube Live) has been organised by Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore (CET Code: E-158) on July 18 (Sunday) at 11 am to boost the morale of students preparing for KCET 2021.

A team of experts from five engineering specialisations, led by Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar, Principal, MITM, will explain to the students, the importance of pursuing a career in engineering, scope of individual branches and their suitability to different spectrum of students, opportunities that await after engineering graduation etc.

The event will also mark the launch of sharing the study materials for KCET and students can avail this opportunity for free following the links that will be provided during the programme. Also, two Mock CET will be held online on Aug. 15 and Aug. 22 to help the aspirants better prepare for the KCET to be held on Aug. 28 and 29.
