Mysuru:  Learners PU College is conducting its annual event, “A seminar and career guidance programme” at KSOU Convocation Hall, Hunsur Road, Mysuru, on Apr.28 at 9.30 am. The event will answer crucial questions like: What next after 10th, How to choose a career, Road to IIT, engineering and medical courses, Awareness on other career options, Success mantra to crack any competitive exams etc.

Ramesh Aravind, cine artiste and motivational speaker, will be addressing the gathering online on how to plan your career. Participants who wish to ask questions to Ramesh on this subject, can mail their questions to: [email protected].

Dr. P.V. Ravindra, Principal Investigator, CFTRI, will speak on developing scientific temperament in students; K. Murali Mohan, IIT, Kanpur and Founder- Learners PU College, will speak on Learn to Learn; S.V. Venkatesh, Founder-RiiiT and advisor, Skill Development Corporation of India, will speak on the various career options after 10th; Bhaskaran Srinivasan, B.Tech, Founder-Business Zenz, will speak on Thinking about thinking; Nitin and Nemi Chandra, NEET toppers and students of MMC, will speak on Road to Medical Colleges;  Pankaj Gupta, IIT, BHU and Rishikant, IIT, Chennai, will speak on Road to IITs; Pareekshith, President, Mysuru Toast Masters Club, will speak on Importance of communication and leadership skills; Snake Shyam, Herpetologist, will give parental tips.

Also present will be Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Mysore University and Dr. Dayananda, Deputy Director, PUE, Mysuru.

The event is free and open for high school and PUC students, teachers and parents. Every student will be given a free one year subscription to Learners online assessment system.
