Mysuru:  Carmel Catholic Association (CCA), Mysuru, felicitated 14 children of their members, who have excelled in curricular and extra-curricular activities for the year 2017, at a function organised at its premises in city recently.

Rev. Fr. Joseph Edakkeri, Vicar Provincial, St. Paul’s Province, Mysuru, and advisor to CCA, distributed the mementos to the students. Those who were felicitated are: Kavya Maria Joy, Alphonsa Antony, Anu Rose Paul and Jebin Joy (all 10th CBSE students), Akhil John and Maria Antony (10th State), Ashik Besto, Maria Antony and Ashis Thomas (PUC), Kiran Cherian Joy (12th ICSE), Sachin Paul (Engineering), Geena Joseph (B.Com), Nithya Deepak (Painting) and Aleena Maria Alex (Athletics).

A lecture on mental health was delivered by Dr. Dushad Ram, Associate Professor in Psychiatry, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, on the occasion. Johnson K. Chalissery, President of CCA, welcomed. Sheela Mohan, Secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.
