Mega job mela in city in October: Decision taken at meeting chaired by CM

Bengaluru: It has been decided to organise a mega Job Mela in Mysuru in October which would facilitate many qualified unemployed youth in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.

A decision to that effect was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah at his home-office ‘Krishna’ here recently.

Siddharamaiah opined that many industries and organisations have come up in and around Mysuru. He contended that many localites should be employed in those organisations.

He asked the officers of the Department of Skill Development to take necessary steps to organise Job Melas in all districts of the State.

Minister for Labour Santosh Lad, Minister for IT/BT and Tourism Priyank Kharge and Chairman of Skill Development Corporation Muralidhar Halappa attended the meeting.
