Cars damaged in road mishap on Hunsur Road

March 21, 2019

Mysuru: Two cars were damaged in an accident involving three vehicles that took place on Hunsur Road this morning.

A Tata Zest car was proceeding on Hunsur Road toward Metropole Circle at about 11.30 am, when a four-wheeler coming from DC Office side, suddenly entered the Hunsur Road. The Tata Zest car driver Satish Kulkarni, upon noticing the four-wheeler, suddenly applied brakes to avoid ramming into it.

As the Zest car made a sudden stop, a Maruti Swift car, reportedly driven by one Hemanth Kumar, which was closely following the Tata Zest car, rammed into it from behind resulting in damages to both the cars. However, no one sustained any injuries in the mishap.

The mishap resulted in traffic jam on the ever busy Hunsur Road for about 15 minutes. K.R. Traffic Police, who rushed to the spot, cleared the road and made way for smooth flow of traffic.
