Cartoon exhibition on Gandhiji at Freedom Fighters Park in city on Oct. 5

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, a cartoon exhibition titled “Gandhi 150 plus walking” has been organised by Amara Bapu Chinthana and Gandhi Bhavan, Bengaluru, on Oct. 5 at 11.30 am at Freedom Fighters Park in Subbarayanakere here.

Star of Mysore cartoonist and Fulbrighter M.V. Nagendra Babu will display his cartoons at the exhibition which will be inaugurated by Dr. K. Raghuram Vajapayee, Gandhian and social worker. Corporator Pramila Bharath, writer Dr. Gururaj Poshettyhalli of Bengaluru, D.t. prakash, Founder of d.t.s foundation, former President of District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Maddikere Gopal and Industrialist Doreswamy will be the chief guests.

 This cartoon exhibition will be held throughout Karnataka by Gandhi Bhavan, Bengaluru, in the month of October and November.
