Cash, gold jewellery burgled from Infosys employee’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who gained entry into the house of Infosys employee at Vijayanagar 4th Stage, have decamped with cash and gold jewellery  from the house on June 23 in broad daylight.

The burglary took place at the house of 50-year-old B. Narayan, Facility Executive at Infosys.

On June 23, Narayan left for work and his son Sagar, left for college. Narayan’s wife Nagarekha, locked the house at about 11.30 am and went to the house of Narayan’s mother at Yadavagiri.

Sagar, who came home at about 4.30 pm, saw the lock of the rear door broken and on inspecting the house, he found the doors of the two wardrobes in the bedrooms forcibly opened and about 200 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 20,000 cash missing.

A case has been registered at Vijayanagar Police Station.
