Cash prize for best drivers

Transport Department has invited applications from drivers of maxi-cabs, buses, transport vehicles, taxis and auto rickshaws in the district for awarding prizes to two best drivers in each category of vehicles carrying a cash prize of Rs.25,000. The eligible drivers should be above 45 years with valid Driving Licence over the last 20 years with no remarks. They should not have any record of accident at any Police Station. The eligible drivers should submit the application to Regional Transport Officer, Chamarajapuram, Mysuru – 570005 before Nov.23 (5.30 pm), according to a press release.
