Mysuru: The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics conducted a CDE (Continuing Dental Education) programme on ‘Aesthetic Dentistry’ at JSS Dental College and Hospital on Oct.16.
Chief guest Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, Director (Academics), JSS University, inaugurated the programme. The programme was addressed by guest speakers Dr. Arvind Shenoy and Dr. Arun Jayasheel. The topics covered included dental ceramics, veneers and aesthetic restorations.
There was a live demonstration of cementation protocol for ceramic restorations like porcelain veneer and zirconia crown by Dr. Arvind Shenoy.
The event was attended by more than 150 participants from across Karnataka.
Dr. Anilkumar Gujjari, Principal and Dr. B.M. Annapoorna, Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, JSS Dental College and Hospital, were also present.
