Mysuru: Children’s Literary Club, Mysuru, has organised a programme at Maneyangala in Kalamandira premises on Dec. 15 at 10.45 am to celebrate the successful and continuous staging of the One- Woman Play in English titled “Stage Chemistry: Neuro-Psychiatric Disorders on Stage.”
Already staged 237 times, this show has been performed by Dr. R. Purnima at select educational institutions in Mysuru, Kolar, Chikmagalur, Yadgiri, Kalaburagi, Tumakuru, Kodagu, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Chamarajanagar, Bengaluru, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Davanagere, Mandya and Udupi Districts in Karnataka; Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi also.
Concept, Script, Stage Management, Costume Designing, Production and Direction are by Dr. Purnima.
Also there will be a talk on Inter-Disciplinary Studies by Prof. H.S. Umesh, former Principal of Sarada Vilas B.Ed College and also a well-known theatre personality and by Dr. R. Indira, former Professor of Sociology and Director, International Centre, University of Mysore.
