CESC Public Grievances Meet turns a damp squib

August 8, 2019

Mysuru: Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) had organised a Public Grievances Meet yesterday at Ramakrishnanagar Sub-Division Office which turned out to be a damp squib as none of the electricity consumers came to submit a written grievance for reasons best known to the consumers only.

CESC Assistant Executive Engineer R. Surendra, who was supposed to chair the Meet, said that a few of the consumers had complained of some small problems over phone which have been attended.

Surendra further said that the complaints received during the last meeting held on May 15 like shifting of an LT line passing in front of a house, irregularity in taking energy meter readings and repairing a slanting electric pole have been addressed. He added that the next quarterly meeting will be held on Nov.11 and asked consumers to use the occasion to submit written grievances.
