August 12, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: With the countdown for the 75th year of Indian Independence having begun, CESC is all set to send a message to every household in the form of power bills.

The CESC has started preparations for sending ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign message in Kannada on its August month power bills, appealing the public to hoist the National Flag atop their homes from Aug.13 to 15.

Five districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Chamaraj-anagar and Kodagu, come under CESC jurisdiction and CESC has planned to send out the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ message to every household for ensuring the success of the campaign.

Likewise, the CESC has also planned to print a Dasara message on its power bills next month as Dasara festival is round the corner, according to a CESC official.

Meanwhile, awareness on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign is being carried out at Mandakalli airport, where colourful boards featuring freedom fighters, the rich cultural tradition of Mysuru etc., are displayed.
