CFTRI gets new Director: Retd. employees celebrate

Mysuru: About 30 retired employees of CFTRI, Mysuru, celebrated the appointment of Dr.KSMS Raghava Rao as the new Director of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), yesterday.

They celebrated in a unique way as Dr. Rao, who was allegedly manhandled and insulted by former Director Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, has been appointed as the Director now.

Criticising the former Director for his anti-Kannada stance, dictatorship attitude, suspension of employees, dismissals and transfers of many staff, the retired employees, in a press release, have demanded the higher authorities to investigate all corruption charges made against Prof. Ram Rajasekharan.
