Chain snatched at CFTRI Layout

Mysuru: A woman, who was on her way to distribute ‘Yellu-Bella’ lost her gold chain, when two scooter borne miscreants snatched the gold chain she was wearing at CFTRI Layout here on Monday.

The woman who lost her gold chain has been identified as Sowbhagya, wife of Vijay Kumar, an employee at the Technical Division in CFTRI.

Sowbhagya, at about 2 pm was proceeding on the 5th Main Road in CFTRI Layout to distribute ‘Yellu-Bella’ to her neighbours, when two miscreants came from behind on a scooter snatched her 30 grams gold chain and sped away.

Sowbhagya, informed the Police that the two miscreants came on a white Honda Activa scooter with the pillion rider wearing a red T-Shirt and a helmet. Saraswathipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
