Chain snatched in Gokulam

Mysuru: Two miscreants on a scooter have managed to snatch a part of a gold chain of a girl in Gokulam here yesterday afternoon.

The girl, identified as Apoorvashri, an employee of a private firm, was walking along with her friends on the 15th Cross in Gokulam 2nd Stage, when two miscreants on a Honda Activa scooter (without registration plate) tried to yank off the gold chain.

As Apoorvashri held on to her gold chain, the miscreants have managed to flee with a part of the gold chain which broke during the incident. A case has been registered at Jayalakshmipuram Police Station in this regard.
