Chain snatched in city

Mysuru: Scooter borne miscreant has snatched a gold chain of an elderly woman in Srirampura here on Oct. 18.

The woman, who lost her gold chain is 62-year-old Kamala, a resident of Madhuvana Layout, Srirampura 2nd Stage in city.

On Oct. 18 at about 4 pm, Kamala, who had gone to the nearby flour mill, was on her way to  home on the cross road, when the chain snatcher, who came from behind yanked off her 30-gram gold chain and sped away on his scooter.

Based on the complaint from Kamala, Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the chain snatcher.
