Chain-snatchers strike again

Mysuru: After a brief lull, chain-snatchers have struck again in the city, with a 36-year-old woman falling victim last night.

Bhramaramba, a resident of Siddalingeshwara Layout in Vidyaranyapuram, was feeding her child outside her house at about 9.45 pm last night, when two motorcycle-borne miscreants managed to yank off her 35-gm gold chain and sped away under the cover of darkness.

Vidyaranyapuram Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and registered a case.
