Chain-snatching in city

September 24, 2017

Mysuru: Taking advantage of less Police personnel in city extensions as majority of them have been deputed for Dasara duty, two bike-borne miscreants have managed to snatch a part of the gold chain from a woman in Kuvempunagar here this morning. The woman who lost her chain has been identified as 45-year-old Anusuya.

Anusuya was walking near Taraka Park in Kuvempunagar, when two bike-borne miscreants snatched her chain weighing about 30 grams. Though Anusuya held on to her gold chain, the miscreants managed to get away with about 10 grams of the chain.

Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case in this regard.
