Championship Series AITA National U-18 Tennis: Mysuru’s Manish enters finals

Manish, a student of Sapient PU College, Mysuru and a product of Mysore Tennis Club, entered the final in the Boys U-18 Singles event of the SAT Sports Championship Series AITA National U-18 Tennis Tournament yesterday.

Manish, playing a consistent game, beat Bhuvan Mahesh 9-1 in semi-finals to enter the title round. In quarter-finals, Manish beat Ananth Mani Muni 8-0 and in pre-quarterfinals beat Mysuru lad Eshwar Shashidhar 8-2. In the second round, Manish scored a good 8-4 win over Rikshith Dhankane and in  first round tie beat Vedant 8-0 to progress further.
