Chamundeshwari idol handed over to Hill Temple Authority

Mysore Palace Board Deputy Director T.S. Subramanya handing over the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari to Sri Chamundeshwari Temple Development Authority Secretary M.J. Roopa at the Palace yesterday. After Dasara inauguration atop Chamundi Hill on Sept. 22, the idol will be brought to the Palace prior to the start of Jumboo Savari on Oct. 2.
