Chamundi Hill climbing for Vegetarianism tomorrow

In a bid to promote vegetarianism among the population, the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM), Mysuru, has organised Chamundi Hill steps climbing with the theme ‘Climbing for vegetarianism’ at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 6.30 am tomorrow (Dec. 4). Announcing this at a press meet at Patrakartara Bhavan here this morning, PSSM,Mysuru President B. Channabasava said that a total of 450 people, including men and women,  have registered for the event which will be held under four categories — 10 to 20 years, 21 to 30 years, 31 to 40 years and above 40 years. All the registered participants are required to assemble near the Chamundi Hill footsteps well in advance, he said adding that registration has closed. Former Karnataka High Court Judge Arali Nagaraj will be chief guest on the occasion.
