Mysuru: The Charter Night and the Installation Ceremony of Rotary Mysore East was held at Hotel Sepoy Grande here recently. Rtn. PDG M. Lakshminarayan, who was the Installing Officer, installed Rtn. Arun Kumar Singh as the tenth President of the Club. Three new members were also inducted to the Club.

Rtn. Ravindra Bhat, Assistant Governor, was the guest of honour. Rtn. Rohith Subbayya presented the report of service projects done last year. The major projects carried out by the Club are: Awareness on paper and cloth bag making and usage; Maternal and child health care at Cheluvamba Hospital; Health Check-up Camps for Auto Drivers; Tree Plantation; Training in tailoring. Rtn. Indira Ballal, Outgoing President, welcomed. Rtn. Shakuntala Elizabeth compered. Rtn. Renu Yamdagni proposed a vote of thanks.
