Check fleecing autowallahs

April 20, 2018

Sir,

I am a frequent visitor to Mysuru and I wish to share my experience with autos. The auto meters are tampered beyond imagination. Recently, even for short distance of 5 km, I was forced to pay Rs. 110. Most of these autowallahs use bad languages to get their demanded money, particularly those who cannot converse in Kannada.

Excepting the cases of pre-paid counters at Railway Station and Bus Stand, I was looted in other areas.  Now, I prefer travelling by Volvo buses, though these are not convenient like autos. It appears, RTO is not interested to probe into this and Traffic Police are more interested in catching two-wheelers for not wearing helmets.
