Check increasing vehicle population

April 14, 2018

Sir,

It is really a matter of concern to see so many vehicles on the roads! People are buying vehicles as status symbol, though most do not have space to park within their residential complex!

They park on road sides and narrow down the passage to travelling vehicles. The Government should allow purchase of vehicles only if the buyer has a personal space to park. No permission to anyone who has no personal parking space. This has to be a strict rule and RTO should also keep track of it.

City life has become very tiresome with traffic jams! Travelling time has increased horribly!! Dust pollution and Fuel pollution have created much health hazard. I request all the governments to unitedly follow the rule that only those with personal parking space in their residential complex can buy a vehicle.
