Chendrimada Sundari Machaiah (Kalengada), wife of late Chendrimada Raja Machaiah, passed away yesterday afternoon at her residence in Benson Town, Bengaluru. She was 74.

She leaves behind her son Vachan Chinnappa, daughter Yamini Muthanna (noted Bharatanatyam dancer), son-in-law Kotera Vinu Muthanna and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Kalpalli in Bengaluru this afternoon.
