Mysuru: Cheniyapanda Akkamma (Thelapanda -Halugunda), wife of Roy Chengappa and a resident of No. 84, 1st A Cross, 3rd Main in Nivedithanagar, passed away in the early hours of today in city. She was 79.

She leaves behind her husband, son Muddappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this afternoon.
