CHESCom Engineer dies of heart attack at Shravanabelagola

Mysuru:  A CHESCom Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) from the city reportedly died of heart attack while taking part in a Bahubali Mahamastakabhisheka procession at Shravanabelagola in Hassan district yesterday.

C.D. Vidyadhar (55), a resident of first Cross Bhavya Bharath Layout behind BEML Layout, Srirampura in city, is  the deceased.

Vidyadhar was taking part in a procession as part of the ongoing Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelogola, when he collapsed suddenly. He was rushed to a local hospital from where he was being shifted to Mysuru, when he died en route, it is learnt.

He leaves behind his wife Roopashri, daughter Aishwarya and  a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
