Chief Justice Hombegowda Memorial Football Tournament: Jeevan scores hat-trick

A hat-trick by centre-forward Jeevan (31st,47th,50th) and a goal each by left-out Steiner (34th) and right-out Hemanth (35th) helped Kautilya FGC to register a big 5-0 win over Basudeva Somani FGC and enter the quarter-finals in the Chief Justice Hombegowda Memorial  Gold Cup Football Tournament organised by Department of Physical Education and Physical Education Teachers Academy Trust at University Football Grounds here yesterday.

The scores: Pre-quarters: Kautilya FGC 5 (Jeevan 31, 47, 50, Steniner 34, Hemanth 35) bt Basudeva Somani FGC 0; De Paul FGC 2 (Lunbui 50, Chendan 55) bt VVHIM & CT 0.
