Chiguru: Cultural and Sports Competitions on Jan.19

Youth for Seva has organised ‘Chiguru,’ Cultural and Sports Competitions, at Vijaya Vittala Educational Institutions premises in Saraswathipuram here on Jan.19. A total of 2,500 participants including 2,000 children, 50 teachers, 50 judges and 400 volunteers (26 Government Schools in Mysuru and rural areas) are expected to take part in the programme which will be held from 8 am to 5.30 pm. MP Pratap Simha will inaugurate the programme at 9.30 am. Cultural and Sports Contests will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. Valedictory will be held at 2.30 pm where prizes will be distributed to the winners, according to a press release from Youth for Seva Convenor Sathish Methri.
