Chikkaiah (75), a retd. Clerk of D. Banumaiah’s College, Mysuru, passed away at his residence in Huyilalu village today. 

He is survived by his wife Nagamma, son Mahadev, daughter-in-law Savita, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at his native village Huyilalu, according to family sources.
