Mysore/Mysuru: A case has been filed against a groom, his parents and in-laws on charges of conducting child marriage in city on Friday.

Before the Police and Child Development Project Officer could swoop on the marriage hall, they had vacated the Kalyan Mantap. An officer of CDPO got information that the marriage of an under-aged girl was going at a hall in Kuvempunagar. 

Immediately, Shobha, an in-charge Anganwadi worker, informed the Police and raided the choultry only to see that everyone had escaped. Kuvempunagar Police have booked a case and are investigating.
