Chinnara Mela Natakotasava begins

Chinnara Mela Natakotasava, organised as part of the ongoing Chinnara Mela summer camp by Rangayana, began at Vanaranga in Rangayana premises last evening. B.V. Karanth Award-2016 recipient Srinivasa G. Kappanna inaugurated the Natakotsava in the presence of Rangaya Dy. Director Nirmala Mathapati, theatrist and Chinnara Mela-2017 camp Director Mime Ramesh and others. Inauguration was followed by staging of play ‘Kappu Kageya Haadu’ by Natyarani Shantala team and ‘Geletana’ by Kalaratna Gubbi Veeranna team. Today, the theatre fest features staging of play ‘Somari Thimma’ by Amarashilpi Jakanachari team and ‘Hu Thota’ by Santa Shisahunala Sharifa team at 6.30 pm.
