Chottangada Lalitha (Mukkatira-Cherambane), wife of late Kushalappa and a resident of No. 905/25, 4th Main, 2nd Cross, Vidyaranyapuram, Mysuru, passed away yesterday in city. She was 89.

A native of Birunani village, Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu district, she leaves behind three daughters, sons-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill today.
