CII holds single window agency meeting

Mysuru: A single window agency meeting was recently hosted by CII at Automotive Axles Limited in city. Some of the issues that were discussed include:

Women Entrepreneurs Park:  The State Government intends to set up a Women Entrepreneurs Park at Thandya Industrial Area to facilitate Entrepreneurship Development. In this regard, KIADB Development Officer has initiated action by preparing a detailed project report for the layout plan.

Housing layouts at Belagola Industrial Area: H. Ramakrishne Gowda, Joint Director, District Industry Centre (DIC), informed the members that there was no canal running in the industrial area and the same has been communicated to the Tahsildar and KIADB.

Dr. N. Muthukumar, President, Automotive Axles, stressed on the need for maintaining a good relationship between industrial areas and housing layouts. He suggested that the area be called a Buffer Zone and be protected under green belt.

Muthukumar also briefed the meeting on a major event to be organised by QCFI – NCQC – 2017 at JSS Science & Technology University, Mysuru. Around 9,000 delegates are expected to take part in the event with the theme ‘zero defect’ from ‘zero effect’ which eventually aligns with ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The meeting also discussed cluster development programme for allocation of land at Hebbal Industrial Area. Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep instructed Nanjangud Tahsildar to take action on the government land under the jurisdiction of KIADB to be transferred from Revenue Department to KIADB.

A request was also placed to set up a Fire Station in Kadakola Industrial Area in the government allotted land of 1.5 acres to be transferred to the respective department.
