The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Centre for Skill and Technical Training, Mysuru, is celebrating its Foundation Day on Aug. 19. As part of the celebrations, an Industry-Institute Interaction Meet is being organised with the objective of further strengthening collaboration between industries and the institute.

An Alumni Meet, Parents’ Meet and various entertainment programmes by students have also been planned. Recognised as one of the leading skill development institutions in the country, the CIPET Centre at Mysuru, established in 1991, has trained more than 5,000 unemployed youths through short-term and employment-oriented skill development programmes sponsored by State Government Departments.
