Mysuru, Oct. 5 (PM&BS)- Even after the Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara, which concluded spectacularly with the Jumboo Savari on Oct. 2, the city continues to witness heavy traffic, with the festive illumination still drawing huge crowds.

As the city remains lit up until Oct. 12, people — especially youngsters — are thronging the roads after dusk to admire the dazzling sights, travelling in two-wheelers, four-wheelers, open jeeps, sunroof cars, and even goods autorickshaws.

Yesterday, being a weekend, the city saw bumper-to-bumper traffic, honking, and gleaming headlights stretching for three to four hours.

At prominent junctions such as K.R. Circle, Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle, D. Devaraja Urs Road, JLB Road, Chamaraja Double Road, and Sayyaji Rao Road, youths were busy clicking selfies and group photos against the backdrop of statues of erstwhile kings and heritage buildings, which had been beautifully illuminated to create a rare visual spectacle.

Meanwhile, the Police faced a tough task managing the crowds, as people stopping to take photos often disrupted the smooth flow of traffic.
