Mysore/Mysuru: The city’s well-known Agri-scientist Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapura, popularly known as Plant Doctor, has been invited to present his new innovation at the 4th BioAg World Congress which will be held from May 2 to 5 at Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil.

He will be presenting his research product POWER PLUS which has proved its ability to cure the viral diseases of many crops, especially the Papaya Ring Spot Virus (PRSV) disease. He has proved to the world that his product has the ability to cure even the virus infected plants which is first-of-its-kind in the entire world.

Further, this innovation could lead to new vista in virus research to combat many other virus diseases that cause huge economic loss and threaten the food and nutritional security of the world.

He is one of the only three presenters from India and the only Indian to compete for Innovation Award in this global Congress where bigwigs of the top agri industry across the world will be participating.
