Mysuru: The art works of Mysuru-based artist N. Parameshwara are being displayed at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The paintings are being displayed at the sprawling Hirji Jehangir Gallery where works of renowned artists such as M.F. Hussain, S.H. Raza, Akbar Padamse and K.K. Hebbar have been exhibited on earlier occasions. 

The solo painting expo was inaugurated by Dr. Kishor Ingle, Director, Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra, on June 15. Noted artist and Member of Bombay Art Society Vikrant Manjrekar and artist Sujatha Achrekar were the chief guests. The art works will be on display till tomorrow.    

A gold medallist from Sri Chamarajendra Govt. College for Visual Arts (CAVA), Parameshwara has received many accolades including the Karnataka Lalitha Kala Akademi Award (2014), Mysuru Dasara Award (2013) and Indian Royal Academy National Award (2018) among others.
