City boy selected for National-level Science Expo

Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of State Education Research and Training, Bengaluru, under the Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi, had conducted Inspire Award Manak (SLEPC-10) State-level Science Exhibition for Primary and High School students.  

The exhibition was held on Feb. 14 and 15 at Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt, Nagamangala Taluk, Mandya District in which 810 schools participated and 71 got selected for National-level.  

From Mysuru, Musharraf Ahmed, a student of CFTRI School, who prepared a working model of ‘DORO – Defence Robot’ which can be used in Defence Mechanism, has been selected to compete in the national level. He says these robots, at the borders, will protect our nation and prevent the tragic deaths of the Army personnel.
