Mysuru: A city business man  reportedly committed suicide by jumping into Varuna Lake on T. Narasipur Road yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Jain (38), son of Bhagawathi Jain, who resided at a house near Padma Talkies in K.R. Mohalla.

Sandeep Jain who ran an electronics shop on K.T. Street in the city, was said to be depressed in life.

Sandeep’s body was fished out of the lake yesterday evening.

The Mysuru South Police have registered a case in this regard.
