City cyclists win medals

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru District Cycling Association cyclists secured National Champion title in the National-level Cycling Championship held at Panchkula in Haryana between Mar. 28 and 30. Medal-winners are:

U-16 Girls: H.N. Nagasiri – 1 gold medal; U-18 Boys: Charith Gowda – 3 gold; H.R. Lakshmish – 1 gold and 1 silver; Men’s Category: K.V. Vyshakh – 1 silver and 1 bronze. Ashish, Samarpan Jain and Ruchir also represented Karnataka from Mysuru.

Karnataka State Cyclists were  awarded ‘Overall Championship Runners-up’ with Mysuru cyclists contributing almost 75 percent of Karnataka State points.
