City girl Rushika enters India Book of Records

Mysore/Mysuru: C. Rushika, a 5-year-old child from Mysuru, has entered India Book of Records for breaking the maximum number of glass sheets with a single gloved hand.

She has broken 26 glass sheets with her right gloved hand in 26 seconds at the age of 4 years-10  months-and-19 days as confirmed on Sept. 8, 2022.

She has also got first place in Rink Race V (2 Lap) and Rink Race VI (3 Lap) at the 33rd District Roller Skating Championship-2022 organised by the Mysore District Roller Skating Championship in city recently, representing city’s Rao’s Roller Skating Academy.

Rushika, born on Oct. 20, 2017, is pursuing her LKG at St. Joseph’s Nursery School in Jayalakshmipuram.

She is the daughter of Chandru, a Bamboo merchant and S. Bhagyalakshmi, a housewife. They are residents of # 6A/6AI, 2nd Cross, Umer Khayam Road, Tilak Nagar in city.
