City grapplers bag medals at National Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The grapplers of Academy of Martial Science (AMS), Krishnamurthypuram and Smite School of Martial Arts, Rajivnagar, affiliated to Mysore Combat Sports Association (MCSA), won 13 Gold, seven Silver and four Bronze medals for the State in Jiu Jitsu National Championship held in  Bengaluru recently.

The event was organised by Sports Jiu Jitsu India Federation (SJJINDF) with Karnataka Body at Fight Capital India. With the above medal tally, MCSA secured the No.1 position in Junior Division and 4th in Senior Division.

Over 300 participants from various States of the country participated in the event.

Kru. Syed Tanveer Ahmed was the team Manager and official. Team was coached by Kru. M.R. Darshan and Likhith. Team MCSA is headed and mentored by Kru. Vikram, who is also the Vice-President of SJJINDF.
