Mysuru: City hoteliers will be staging mythological play ‘Bhakta Prahlada’ at Kalamandira in city on Sept. 8. The show will be inaugurated at 4 pm in the presence of State and National Award winner cine-actor Vijaya Raghavendra as the chief guest.

Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on Tuesday, Hotel Owners Association President C. Narayanagowda said that except women’s role, all other characters in the drama are being played by hoteliers and they are training under the guidance of Drama Master Govindaraju for the show.

The lead role of Prahlada will be enacted by Sanika and Prahlada’s mother Kayadu role by Deepika. Hostel Owners Association Charitable Trust President Ravi Shastri – Hiranyaksha, A.C. Ravi – Hiranya Kashyapu, Secretary Subramanya Tantri – Narada.

Cash prize for best photographs: The Association President also informed that four best photographs of the play will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,001, Rs. 5,001, Rs. 2,001 and Rs. 1,001 respectively.
